Our History

MegaDev GmbH is the European market leader for legal cheats and training codes for single-player PC games. Founded in 2015 in Munich, the company builds PLITCH, the platform that lets players customize their gaming experience through cheat codes — easier, harder, or free of unnecessary grind.

2001 - RELEASE MTXL

Our co-founder Christian Jänicke pioneered the concept of the "All-in-one Game Trainer" with the invention of the "MegaTrainer XL." Initially offering 5 game trainers, it expanded to 91 before its retirement.

2007 - RELEASE MT-X

Christian, our co-founder, also conceptualized and developed the "MegaTrainer eXperience," the second generation successor to the MTXL, which was released as beta in 2007 and final in 2008. Throughout its lifespan, the game trainer library expanded to include 694 games.

2015 - MEGADEV IS FOUNDED

MegaDev GmbH is formally established and incorporated.

2016 - RELEASE MTU V1

MegaTrainer Ultimate (V1) marked a significant technological advancement, offering users the capability to activate cheat codes both through mouse clicks and hotkeys.

MegaTrainer Ultimate (V2) succeeded V1, introducing a contemporary design, enhanced user functionalities, and an updated website and forum layout. Within its two-year lifespan, it expanded its game library by over 1,000 titles, totaling 2,212 game trainers before the advent of PLITCH, which elevated the platform to new heights.

2018 - RELEASE MTU V2

2020 - PLITCH RELEASES

PLITCH makes its official debut, offering over 33,000 game mods and cheat codes, along with support for more than 2,500 games. Along with it, Companion Apps for both Android and iOS were released,
allowing gamers to activate and manage their PLITCH mods directly from their mobile devices

2023 - PLITCH 2.0

The latest iteration of PLITCH has grown to encompass over 60,000 cheat codes and trainers for more than 4,500 games. Additionally, this update introduced new gamification elements such as Achievements, along with the launch of an overhauled iOS and Android App.
